Flooding Friday

Streak to the beach - Day 82

Time : 20:00 Minutes
Distance : 2.1 Miles
This Week: 14.05 Miles

Total: 267.15 Miles

Runner’s World Summer Streak - Day 26

Week 4: 14.05 Miles
Total: 105.35 Miles

Well a very exciting day in a city that shut down, some 20 communities (100,000 people) are under a mandatory evacuation order and most roads that include a bridge are shut down.  Driving anywhere is difficult to say the least.

Silly people panicking emptied the grocery store shelves of water and some food stocks even though there is no indication of any interruption of services. This is the view of the river that I posted on June 10

And this is the same view of the river today

Quite the difference eh?  Anyway the sun has come out and the waters will start receding and we will get back to normal.

I elected to run inside on the treadmill again. I did a simple run for a Friday night and set the treadmill for 9:30 minute miles and ran for 20 minutes and felt crappy the entire time. I’ve gotten to the point where I am started to count the days to July 4 and take a rest day.

Another day another couple of miles.

Plod On.
